Leather Knife Co. was created to give serious leatherworkers well-designed, professional cutting tools: good materials, controlled manufacturing, proper heat treatment, useful blade geometry, solid construction, and realistic pricing. We believe a leatherworking knife should be judged primarily by how it performs as a working tool — how it feels through a full day’s cutting, trimming, and skiving — rather than by ornamentation.

How we work
Leather Knife Co. is based in Pennsylvania, where we design, specify, and bring these tools to market — choosing steel, setting heat-treatment and hardness targets, and defining blade geometry and construction for each model. We work with manufacturing partners to produce them. Country of origin varies by product and is listed individually on each product page rather than as a single blanket claim.
